Take these steps to earn and maintain your SLC certification:

2. Study the SLC Manual

• Purchase the Digital SLC Manual

3. Take the SLC Exam (contact PLNA@PLNA.com to schedule)

4. Earn and Report Continuing Education Credits

• Review Continuing Education Requirements
• Submit CEU Journal Entries
• PLNA Online Calendar (For SLC-approved events hosted by PLNA and other horticultural organizations)

Eligibility

Professionals who design, install, and maintain sustainable landscapes in the residential, commercial, or municipal environments are eligible to apply for the SLC certification.

As of 2018, the SLC program is separate from the PCH program and you no longer need the PCH designation to apply.
