A Blossoming Legacy: PLNA Rings in 120th Anniversary

PLNA marked its 120th anniversary with a gathering of green industry excellence. Amongst the horticultural wonders of Longwood Gardens, PLNA celebrated its longevity and many achievements. The occasion featured appearances from notable industry leaders such as Jeffrey Scott of Jeffrey Scott Consulting; Donald Pell of Donald Pell Gardens; and the PA Secretary of Agriculture, Russell Redding. We celebrated and learned and kicked off another 12 decades of legacy.

Awards Celebration & Presentations 

We are incredibly lucky to have industry trailblazers in our community. As we gathered in person for our luncheon, we were able to recognize the excellence of these individuals. 

Daniel Eichenlaub of Eichenlaub Inc., received the 2024 Fredrick J. Mummert Distinguished Service Award in recognition of his distinguished and outstanding service and commitment to the industry. 

Hagan Hetz of Fairview Evergreen Nurseries was named the 2024 PLNA Hall of Fame Award recipient. PLNA recognizes his legacy of unyielding volunteerism and promotion of PLNA and the horticulture industry.

Katie Dubow of Garden Media Group was presented with the 2024 Green Achiever Award in recognition for her achievements and contributions to the horticulture industry.

Gregg Robertson, PLNA's Government Relations Consultant, received the 2024 Exceptional Leadership Award in recognition of his time and effort to advance the PLNA mission. 

These individuals represent the excellence that PLNA has to offer. We gratefully acknowledge their contributions to our organization and the green industry.
