Event Description: Solidago, commonly known as goldenrods, are iconic and horticulturally invaluable perennials that produce breathtaking golden-yellow floral displays in late summer-to-fall. Despite their inherent beauty and value to wildlife, goldenrods are not commonly considered for garden use. Mt. Cuba Center recently concluded goldenrod trial shines a light on the tremendous ornamental qualities of this genus and illustrates their extraordinary capacity to support wildlife in cultivation. Review the three-year Solidago trial highlighted with top-performing species and cultivars that will make beautiful and ecologically valuable additions to gardens of the mid-Atlantic region.   Join live to participate in our online learning community or watch after as your schedule allows.
