PLNA has designed its member categories in line with the various business types in the industry so that we can provide you with communications and benefits that are aligned with your business needs. Classic membership annual dues are $400 and your membership year is defined by the quarter end for the month that you join. Example: If you join on August 15, your first year membership is valid through September 30 of the following year. You will continue to renew on September 30.
NOTICE: Dues paid for PLNA membership are not deductible as a charitable expense on your Federal Income Tax Return. They are deductible as a trade or business expense if ordinary and necessary in the conduct of your business, as the portion of the dues attributed to activities defined by the Internal Revenue Service as "lobbying expense" is not deductible. PLNA has determined that 27% of your dues payment is not deductible for income tax purposes.
Member Categories
Wholesale Grower/Rewholesaler - Any company who is engaged in the production of plants and/or wholesale plant materials at the B2B level.
Broker/Sales Representative - Any company who is engaged in the sale or wholesale distribution of plants, seeds, and other materials at the B2B level.
Manufacturer/Distributor - Any company who is engaged in the manufacturing or distribution of related products and/or hard goods for the nursery and landscape industry.
Landscape Services - Any company who provides landscape or related services in the commercial or residential setting; this includes design, installation, restoration or maintenance.
Retail Garden Center/Outlet - Any company who sells plants and/or hard goods on a retail basis.
Nonprofit/Educational Institution - A nonprofit organization that provides education or related services to green industry professionals.
Ancillary Services - Any company who provides services that support the landscape and nursery industry businesses; e.g. insurance, banking, software.

Signature Membership - Gets your brand in front of potential customers at a deeply discounted rate.

Students & Student Clubs
PLNA membership for students and student clubs is FREE! Student membership is effective through the student's anticipated graduation date.
Student Membership - Any individual student currently enrolled in a horticultural program in high school or college in Pennsylvania is eligible for student membership. Click here for more information.
