Michael Colibraro, Colibraro Landscaping & Nursery, Inc.
With a career spanning more than six decades, beginning shortly after arriving in the United States in 1964, Michael Colibraro has devoted his life to the landscape and nursery profession. He discovered his passion for plants and design while working with Colibraro Landscaping after earning a Bachelor’s degree from LaSalle University. In the early 1980s, he became Manager of the family’s newly established nursery, a role he has held ever since. His professional and personal affiliations reflect a deep commitment to horticulture, including long-standing involvement with ANLA, PLNA, the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, the American Conifer Society, the Pennsylvania Bonsai Society, the Morris Arboretum, and service on the Advisory Board for the Temple University Arboretum at Ambler. In 2010, the Colibraro Conifer Garden was dedicated there as a teaching space and was later recognized by the American Conifer Society as a Reference Garden. His own small home garden has been featured in magazines, online publications, and opened for tours by numerous horticultural societies, showcasing the passion and expertise that define his remarkable career.
