Wendy Brister, River Valley Landscapes

The Green Achiever Award recognizes Pennsylvania green industry leaders. PLNA Green Achievers are full-time employees of PLNA member companies who show promise in their profession and commitment to PLNA and its mission and values. Nominees demonstrate innovative techniques, professionalism, and ethics, promote the green industry and environmental awareness, and serve on a PLNA committee or on the PLNA Board.

Wendy Brister is currently the Director of Sales and Marketing at River Valley Landscapes, previous Marketing Director at Cavano’s Perennials, and an instrumental member of PLNA’s conference planning committee. 

Wendy is a well-known and dedicated member and promoter of Pennsylvania’s landscape and nursery industry. Over the course of her career, Wendy taught horticulture and landscape at regional community colleges, started her own native plant nursery, consulted on gardening and social media for green industry businesses, and coordinated several regional events conferences, including Native Plants in the Landscape, Galanthus Gala, and Perennial Plant Association’s annual symposium and local events.

We are grateful for Wendy’s efforts to help grow PLNA’s annual conference and congratulate her on this Green Achiever Award.
