Online Pennsylvania Certified Horticulturist (PCH) Application

Thank you for choosing to apply for the Pennsylvania Certified Horticulturist Program online!

The PCH Application fee is $75 for a PLNA member company employee and $125 for a non-member company employee.

If you are a member company employee, please check with your employer to make sure you have been added to their company roster and provided a username for the PLNA website. This will ensure that you will be charged the appropriate rate. If you need assistance in obtaining a username, you can contact the PLNA office at 717.238.1673.

The PCH Study Manual, designed to serve as a comprehensive study guide for those preparing for the PCH exam and to use as a reference source for the industry, is sold separately from our application fee and can be purchased from our eStore prior to applying to the program. Purchase of the study manual is optional; however, it is recommended, as the exam questions were created based on the study manual’s content.

You will have two years from the date the application is processed to pass the exam. Your application will be reviewed and approved as soon as possible. You will be notified via email of your approval and the next steps in the process.
